Agents at Work / The tool stack / Apify

Apify, the finder.
Apify is a marketplace of lookup tools, called actors. Your agent rents two. One finds the firms that fit your customer. One finds the people at them. They read public pages only, and they never sign in as you.
What you get
- Two actors. Find the firms, find the people.
- A spending cap on every run, and the cost shown on your review page.
- Public pages only. Your LinkedIn account is never touched.
How it fits in your agent.
What it is
A marketplace of lookup tools. You pay per run.
What it does for your agent
Finds the firms and the people. The first step of every Monday.
When you touch it
Session 2, to make the account and paste the key. Then to check what a run cost.
The one idea.
Your agent doesn't browse LinkedIn. It hires a specialist, and it only pays to look closer at the people worth a note. Fit decides who gets researched, so the cap holds.
What you'll do with it.
- Make a free account. It comes with a little credit.
- Paste the key into Vercel.
- Run a small test. 8 firms, 2 people each. It costs cents.
- Read what it cost on the review page after every run.
Words to know.
- Actor
- One lookup tool on Apify. Your agent rents two: one finds firms, one finds the people at them.
- Cap
- The most a run is allowed to spend or fetch. Your agent stops at the cap, every time.
- Key
- A password for software. It lets your agent use a service like Apify. Never paste one into a chat.
- Tool
- A small thing the agent can do, like look up a company or check who you already contacted.
