Agents at Work / The tool stack / Supabase
05 · Remember · Setup
Supabase, the memory.
Supabase is an online database. Think of spreadsheet tabs, built for software to read and write. Your agent keeps four lists there. That is how it remembers who you already talked to, and how a rerun updates a person instead of adding them twice.
What you get
- Four tables. This week's people, everyone contacted, every firm, every run.
- A memory that survives a rerun. Same person, one row.
- The place your review page reads from.
How it fits in your agent.
What it is
An online database with a free tier. Tables, like spreadsheet tabs.
What it does for your agent
Remembers. Every person, note, status, firm, and run.
When you touch it
Session 3, to make the four tables. Then only to peek at what the agent saw.
The one idea.
The second list is how nobody hears from you twice. The third is how it notices a firm growing. Memory is a list the agent checks before it acts.
What you'll do with it.
- Make a free account.
- Claude Code makes the four tables from one prompt.
- Paste the key into Vercel, not into a file.
- Open a table when you want to see what the agent saw.
Words to know.
- Database
- Lists built for software to read and write. Your agent's memory lives in one, on Supabase.
- Table
- One list in the database, like one tab in a spreadsheet. Your agent has four.
- Run
- One pass of the Monday job, start to finish. Every run is saved with what it found and what it cost.
- Cap
- The most a run is allowed to spend or fetch. Your agent stops at the cap, every time.
